During travels by bus or train in Coastal Andhra districts, we come across a number of ponds in which thousands of lilies bloom. It is a ravishing sight of many-hued lilies which swing into view and, in a few seconds, swing out of view that inspired the song. Imagination tinted those lilies with varying personal moods. So these ponds of lilies are no longer outside you...they are inside your soul as different moods of love and anguish....
